En arrivant d'Aix par la route Cézanne, après le croisement avec la D64, se trouve le bâtiment de la société du canal de Provence, dont la façade est couverte de lierre ou de vigne vierge. La fontaine est là, entre la porte et la route au pied du bâtiment. Une plaque rappelle que l'eau vient des Alpes par la Durance grâce au canal de Provence.
