Dans Montcélèbre, aller en direction du camping du Mas de Lignière et juste avant suivre à gauche (balisage du Réseau Vert) la rue du château d'eau, qui mène à la traverse goudronnée permettant de se rendre en direction d'Azillanet. Le robinet se situe à gauche à la bifurcation du chemin montant au réservoir d'eau, environ 300 du croisement.
