Dans le sens Grenoble - Bourg d'Oisans il faut suivre la piste cyclable qui rentre dans le village de Gavet. La fontaine se trouve sur la gauche de la route devant le bâtiment "école de garçons".

Le 27/08/2019, la fontaine était à sec. Nous avons trouvé de l'eau un peu plus bas dans Gavet, il y a un lavoir à proximité d'un petit parking sur la gauche de la route (le lavoir ne se voit pas depuis la route).
