La borne (verte, des Ets Bayard de Lyon) est située au bord de la D3 (à côté du n° 439 rue Fontanesium). Sur la D3 en provenance de La Talaudière (ou de Saint-Christo-en-Jarez via la D6), un certain temps après l'entrée du village, à l'approche du centre et au sommet du faux-plat montant, juste après l'intersection à droite avec la rue du Sépulcre, on verra la borne côté gauche dans l'embranchement en Y entre la rue Fontanesium (D3) et la rue de l'école en sens unique qui arrive d'en face légèrement sur la gauche. L'écoulement de l'eau est immédiat lorsque l'on tourne le mécanisme pour actionner la pompe à eau.
