L'ancien cimetière est situé en ville sur l'artère principale (ancienne RN 7), il est implanté côté gauche en direction de Roanne juste avant le passage à niveau. Entrer par le portail de droite (le plus proche de la voie ferrée), il y a une borne verte pompe à eau à l'intérieur à droite de ce portail. Pour faire couler l'eau il faut actionner la molette en commençant dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre dans un mouvement de va-et-vient, pendant très très très longtemps (il faut vraiment être patient). N.B.: Le cimetière n'est ouvert que de 8h à 18h.
