La fontaine est située au bord d'un lavoir sous un toit sis le long de la D503 à l'intersection avec la D22. Sur la D22 en provenance de Saint-Genest-Malifaux, traverser la D503 (route à très grande circulation) et prendre à droite le trottoir le long de la D503 direction Riotord pour trouver à sa gauche la fontaine au bord de la halle abritant le lavoir (le jet s'écoule en direction de Riotord).
