La fontaine s'écoulant dans un très grand bassin en pierre se trouve sur une petite place sur le bord droit de la D47 en direction du col de la Loge des Gardes, peu après l'église érigée sur la droite. AVERTISSEMENT : il n'y a pas d'écriteau se rapportant à la potabilité de l'eau, mais on peut supposer que si elle était impropre à la consommation, ce serait précisé, surtout au centre d'un village et à côté d'une auberge.
