Le robinet de type fontaine est implanté à côté de la très très haute "statue de la République" sur une place le long de la D1082. Sur la D1082 en direction de Roanne, peu après les feux tricolores (intersection avec la D1), cette place se trouve à l'angle de la rue du Port côté gauche, et avant la rue de la Cure côté droit qui longe l'église.
