Borne située sous des arbres le long de l'allée des Sapins (chemin) dans le quartier de La Source à Orléans. L'endroit se trouve au sud-est du rond-point ovale traversé par l'avenue de Concyr, et où arrivent notamment les rues Georges Sand et Maurice Genevoix. Depuis le rond-point la borne est accessible en passant des barrières en bois.
