Borne placée au milieu d'un petit massif de plantes, situé sur un terre-plein où se trouvent aussi des arbres et des murets en pierre. L'endroit se trouve au bord de la D962, au niveau de son intersection avec la rue de Chastaing, à la jonction de la Grande Rue et du Boulevard de Verdun. La départementale est passante donc attention aux voitures lorsque vous aller vers la borne.
