La fontaine est implantée sur une petite place à côté du rond-point situé au carrefour de la D43 avec la D63 direction Puy-Guillaume. En provenance de Saint-Priest-Bramenfan, sur la D43 en direction de Luzillat et Maringues, après un premier carrefour à droite avec la D63 en direction de Randan, on arrive à un deuxième carrefour, sous forme de rond-point, avec la D63 direction Puy-Guillaume (qui vient de la gauche). Juste derrière ce rond-point, entrer à gauche sur la placette au milieu de laquelle est implanté le grand bassin octogonal en pierre recueillant l'eau de la fontaine. N.B. : Il ne faut pas avoir le bras trop court pour pouvoir placer son bidon sous le jet. AVERTISSEMENT : Il n'y a aucun écriteau se rapportant à la potabilité de cette eau.
